At pickup, you sign the rental agreement, pay the rental fee and deposit, and receive instructions on using the bike safely.

What documents do I need to rent a bike?

You need a valid identity document and a document confirming your legal stay in Poland. You must also provide the information required to complete the rental agreement.

How old do I have to be to rent a bike?

You must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to ride a bicycle safely and follow Polish traffic regulations.

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is 2 full weeks. However, when you pick up the bike, you only pay for the first week of rental plus the 150 PLN security deposit. The next weekly payment is due after the first week if you continue using the bike.

You can choose between weekly and monthly payments. The current prices depend on the selected battery configuration.

How much is the security deposit?

The security deposit is 150 PLN. It is returned after the bike is returned and the technical inspection has been completed, normally within 7 business days.

What can be deducted from my deposit?

Accepted Answer

The deposit may be used to cover damage caused by the renter, missing equipment, bike cleaning, applicable fees or other amounts due under the rental agreement. If the damage exceeds the deposit, the remaining amount must be paid separately.

How do I end my rental?

The rental is open-ended. After the minimum 2-week period, you can terminate it by notifying us at least 7 calendar days before the next scheduled payment. Otherwise, the rental automatically continues for the next billing period.

What is included with the rented bike?

Depending on the selected configuration and your rental agreement, the bike may be supplied with batteries, chargers, a bicycle lock, phone holder, multitool, courier bag, and other agreed equipment. The exact equipment issued to you is recorded in the rental agreement.

Can I rent a bike without a battery?

Yes. The C29 is available without a battery, as well as with different battery configurations. This option is available for both weekly and monthly rental.

Can another person use my rented bike?

No. You cannot lend, sublet or give the bike to another person without our prior written consent. You remain responsible for the bike while it is in your possession.

Where can I use the rented bike?

Accepted Answer

The rented bike may be used in Warsaw and in the nearby cities and towns surrounding Warsaw. The bike should remain within the permitted service area specified by DeliveryBike.

Is the bike equipped with GPS?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The rented bike is equipped with GPS. GPS is used to protect the bike, locate it in case of loss or theft, recover the bike and verify compliance with the rental agreement. The GPS tracks the bike's location, not your private activity.

What should I do if the bike breaks down

Stop using the bike if continuing to ride could make the damage worse and contact DeliveryBike as soon as possible. Depending on the problem, the bike can be directed to the repair service at Sokołowska 7, Warsaw.

Question 15

Who pays for repairs?

Accepted Answer

Repairs resulting from normal wear, manufacturing defects, motor, controller, electrical-system or display failures, and other problems not caused by the renter are covered by DeliveryBike. Damage caused by improper use is the renter's responsibility.

What if I get a flat tire or have another problem during my shift?

Contact us and provide your location and details of the problem. DeliveryBike also offers a mobile repair service in Warsaw, with common repairs such as flat-tire repairs, brake adjustments, chain replacement and tire/tube replacement available on-site.

What should I do if I have an accident?

Stop riding immediately, secure the scene and contact DeliveryBike. If required by law or if there is a dispute about what happened, call the police. You should also obtain the details of everyone involved in the accident.

What happens if the bike is stolen?

You must immediately report the theft to the police and inform DeliveryBike, including providing confirmation of the police report. The bike must always be secured with the provided lock when left unattended.

What happens if I damage or lose the bike?

If the damage, loss or theft is your responsibility, you may be charged for the corresponding repair or replacement costs. The agreement specifies individual values for the bike, battery and other components. For example, the listed value of a complete Duotts C29 is 4,000 PLN, while a battery is listed at 900 PLN.

Can I repair or modify the bike myself?

No. You cannot carry out your own repairs, modifications or electrical/software changes without prior approval. Repairs and servicing must be performed by DeliveryBike or a service provider designated by DeliveryBike.

Question 21

What happens when I return the bike?

Accepted Answer

The bike must be returned together with all equipment that was issued to you and in a condition no worse than normal wear and tear. The bike is inspected when it is returned and the final settlement is then completed.

Is there a cleaning fee when I return the bike?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If the bike is returned in a condition that requires cleaning, the current agreement lists a 50 PLN cleaning fee.

What happens if I return the bike late?

A fee is charged for each started day of delay according to the current rental price list. If the bike is still not returned after 7 days from the agreed return date, DeliveryBike may take steps to recover the bike, including notifying the police.

What happens if I miss a rental payment?

Rental payments are made in advance for each billing period. Late payments may result in statutory late-payment interest, and a delay of more than 3 days may allow DeliveryBike to request the immediate return of the bike and terminate the agreement.

Can I use the bike for food delivery?

Yes. The C29 can be used for courier work, provided it is operated according to its intended purpose, safety requirements and the manufacturer's permitted loads.

What are the current C29 rental prices?

The current website offers weekly and monthly rental options for the C29, from 170 PLN/week or 600 PLN/month with one 15Ah battery up to 280 PLN/week or 900 PLN/month for the 25+25Ah configuration. Intermediate configurations are also available.
